'Malaal' is the Hindi remake of 2004's critically acclaimed Selvaraghavan's 7G Rainbow Colony which is considered as one of his many master piece. 'Malaal' is produced by Sanjay Leela Bansali and T-Series together. The film is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and features Meezaan Jaffrey and Sharmin Segal in the lead roles.
The trailer of the film was released recently which took us back to nostalgia. The film is different in many aspects, especially this version seems to be more dramatic than the original film. It has few additional Bollywood features which include grand festive and party songs. This film looks brighter and light in it's way of presentation. Watch the trailer here, if you have not:

The first video song of the film 'Aila Re' was released a few days back which is a item song in a way which was not present in the original and now the next song 'Udhal Ho' has released. It is a festive and celebration type song which has a very charismatic background and colors. The song seemingly is not reprising any of the original songs and seems to come with added situation.
The film is definitely not a trace copy of the original as there seems to lot of different and extra details. The film is releasing on July 5th. Watch the new song here:
