Post which, she had met the press where she has cited the reasons behind her sudden step. She has stated that on May 12th 2019, the duo got engaged in the presence of 200 people who were present at the occasion and they were supposed to tie the knot on June 10th 2019 but since Tharshan was selected as one of the contestants in the Bigg Boss season 3, the wedding was postponed.

Tharshan had asked her not to disclose about the engagement news with anyone. And is now refusing to marry the actress as promised. According to Sanam’s statement, whenever the actress approaches him regarding the wedding, she is been insulted. She even went to the extent of going to Jaffna to meet his parents but it resulted in vain as Tharshan’s parents had said that their son is not interested in her anymore. As she is left with no options, she has decided to file the case.

Meanwhile on the work front, Sanam will be next seen in Hansika’s 50th film, Maha that will also feature STR in an extended cameo. On the other hand, Tharshan had recently revealed that he has been roped in to play a prominent role with a big team. No further details of the movie is revealed and stated that his first look for the film will be unveiled soon.
