This duo from Kaappaan - Suriya and Samuthirakani were better known as jigiri dosths not only in the film but also in the real life too. Samuthirakani’s next titled Sillu Karuppatti features Sunainaa, Leela Samson, Baby Sarah Arjun, 'Kaala' Manikandan, 'Magalir Mattum' Nivedhitha Sathish, and others.
Directed by Halitha Shameem, who made the critically acclaimed film ‘Poovarasam Peepee’, the upcoming romantic anthology is bankrolled by Venkatesh Velineni, Pradeep Kumar hasscored the music for the film.
The four stories of the film are shot by four different cinematographers in the form of Abinandhan Ramanujam, Manoj Paramahamsa, Vijay Kartik Kannan, and Yamini Yagnamurthy.
The teaser of the four urban love story based anthology film released in 2018 and it was recently announced that Suriya’s 2D Entertainment has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights. The makers have now announced it officially that the film is all set to hit the big screens on December 27th.
