VIJAY'S ACTRESS TURNS DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER! - GVM DOES THE HONOURS!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsActress Kaveri (aka) Kalyani has been part of the Malayalam film industry right from her childhood. The actress has also played important roles in a number of Tamil films including Thalapathy Vijay and Shalini's 'Kannukkul Nilavu'.
Arguably, her most memorable performance is in the family drama 'Samudhiram' that starred a stellar ensemble of Sarathkumar, Murali, Manoj Bharathiraja, Goundamani, Manivannan and Abhirami among others.
The actress had started her venture into direction and production now. Kaveri's first directorial will be a bilingual romantic psychological thriller touted to be based on real-life incidents. Actor Chethan Cheenu is playing the lead role in the film.
The first look (pre-look) of the film tentatively titled 'Production No.1' was released today (9th March) by ace filmmaker Gautham Menon. The regular shoot of the film is said to commence soon.
