This year's Emmy Awards saw Netflix film Lust Stories nominated under the TV Movie/Mini-Series category along with two other Indian projects - Sacred Games and The Remix. Hence, all the four directors of the series, namely Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee marked their presence at the venue.
Though Australian Thriller 'Safe Harbour' won the TV Movie/Mini-Series category, Sacred Games star Nawazuddin Siddiqui found happiness in his Drama series 'McMafia' getting the award for International Emmy Winner for Drama Series. Quite a memorable day for the actor, we are sure.
