"AFTER THREE BACK TO BACK BAD EXPERIENCES, NOW AM SHIT SCARED FOR VIVEGAM!"

We had reported earlier that Dhanush and Kajol’s VIP 2 had 5 am shows put up at Rohini Silver Screens by the proprietor Nikilesh Surya. However, due to some reasons, it has now been turned down even though over 1000 tickets for the two early morning shows were sold out. Previously, early shows for both Baahubali 2 and Simbu's AAA had also been turned down.

Following the cancellation of the 5 am shows, Nikilesh took to Twitter and said, “After three Back to Back bad experiences, now am shit scared to schedule early morning shows for #Vivegam.” Nikilesh also apologised for the inconvenience caused to the fans. He posted a detailed note regarding this issue and an alternative option to catch the first-day first show (8:00 am)  at Rohini Silver Screens. The note read:

“TO ALL THE VIP FANS! We wanted to play VIP2 at 5 AM as per the wish of Dhanush sir fans. Rohini silver screens is known to play shows to entertain the fans and we wish to keep the tradition alive and kicking. In view of this, we personally requested the producer of the movie to issue the KDM for the 5 AM slot. Though we obtained an oral approval for the same, now the producer wants the shows to begin uniformly across all theatres at 8 AM . Despite repeated requests, the producer is insistent. His word is final and we respect that. The 5 AM show has been rescheduled to 8 AM. Those who do not wish to watch the show at 8 AM can get a refund through Bookmyshow (online customers) or through the counter (those who booked in person). We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Please be assured that ROHINI SILVER SCREENS always acts in the best interest of our most loyal audience- the best and craziest of tamil cinema fans. Next time we will be doubly cautious before scheduling special shows and will avoid such an inconvenient situation.
