Veteran actress Jayachithra is known for her roles in Ilamai Oonjal Aadukiradhu, Arangetram, Pattampoochi, Pattikkaatu Raja. She has starred in several super hit films in Tamil and Telugu apart from directing a couple of films.

Her son Amrish is also part of the film fraternity, and has worked as an actor and music composer. Apparently Mr. Ganesh had passed away today, and his body is expected to be brought to their Poes Garden residence.
