He had received the Kalaimamani Award in 2019. Comagan used to conduct an orchestra with artists who were visually impaired abilities. With 50% COVID infection, the singer was admitted to a private clinic for treatment for the past 12 days.
Comagan was admitted to the ICF Government Hospital in Ayanavaram, Chennai two days ago and passed away at 1:30 am on Thursday due to suffocation. Comagan also served as a member of the Commissionerate for Welfare of the Differently Abled.
