Today (April 10), saw a protest of the Tamil  Nadu Digital Media Association and a lot of famous people from the digital stream took to stage to talk about the issues that Tamil Nadu is facing at the moment. Popular film reviewer Prashanth said:

“We are not asking anyone to stop playing the IPL in Chennai. When we asked them whether they could wear a black badge, a group of people called us anti-Indian and stuff. How long can we keep giving and not getting back anything?

Water scarcity is at its peak in the state and very soon, like Subramanya Swamy said, we might have to try desalination for freshwater! Just because we keep voting for them, they take us for granted. The next time they ask for votes, you must ask them what they did for us! Those people making fun of the ones protesting is very wrong. Just because we are dark, we are not Kena Pasanga. Everyone knows everything! So even if you cannot participate in the struggle, do not make fun of them!”
