REAL LIFE INCIDENT!! ACTRESS JYOTIKA INSPIRES YOUNG GIRL TO EXPOSE HER ABUSER! - HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED!

The legal drama film released in the year 2020 was written and directed by JJ Fredrick in his directorial debut. The movie which starred Jyotika, Parthiepan, Bhagyaraj, Thiyagarajan, Pratap K. Pothan and Pandiarajan in prominent roles, revolved around a lawyer (Jyotika) who leads to the reopening of a controversial 15-year-old case of a dead killer, alleged to have kidnapped and murdered young girls.

It has now come to light that a nine-year-old girl has opened out to her mother about her abuser after watching the film. The victim shared details about the abuser to her mother and the accused has now been sentenced to prison for five years. The girl revealed the identity of the 48-year-old relative who abused her, after watching a moving scene from 'Ponmagal Vandhal' which asks children not to hide anything from their parents.

After she outed him, the family filed a complaint against the abuser. Within one year, the Madras High Court has passed the judgment and sentenced him to five-year imprisonment. Sharing the news on her Instagram page, Actress Jyotika said, "Shatter that silence! Each time a woman stands up for herself, unknowingly she stands up for all women."

Jyotika made her Instagram debut recently. On the workfront, she has 'Udan Pirappe' directed by ERA Saravanan. The movie stars Jyotika and Sasikumar as siblings. It is said to be a story about sibling love and their emotions. The film will release in October on Amazon Prime Video.
