READY AND SET - SANTHANAM'S LONG-DELAYED MOVIE SET FOR OTT RELEASE? HERE'S WHAT THE ACTOR HAS TO SAY!

Incidentally, last year, the director asked for people's opinion if the movie can be released on OTT. The movie also reportedly has a Nagesh connect and it is said that the yesteryear legendary Actor-Comedian's grandson Bijesh has acted in an important role in the movie.

For the unversed, Nagesh had acted as the lead role in 'Server Sundaram' which was released in the year 1964. The movie showcases his rise from being a server in a hotel to a famous actor. The movie was a superhit during its times.

With many movies now releasing on OTT, it looks like this movie will too take the same route. In a Q&A session on Instagram, Santhanam hinted about an OTT release for the film. When a fan asked him if 'Server Sundaram' will release on OTT, he said, "You will see it soon. May be in an OTT platform."

Earlier when Behindwoods contacted Bijesh, who has acted in the movie, to clarify about the information. He revealed that the movie is expected to release on an OTT platform and that news regarding the same will arrive soon. "I am also waiting for the announcement like you," he added.

The film also stars Bijesh, Kitty, Mayilsamy, Shanmugarajan, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Swaminathan, Radha Ravi in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Selvakumar of Kenanya Films, the movie's music has been scored by Santhosh Narayanan.

Meanwhile Santhanam is awaiting the release of his sci-fi comedy entertainer 'Dikkiloona' on Zee 5. The actor-comedian's movie, directed by debutant Karthik Yogi, deals with the concept of time travel has been given September 10 (Ganesh Chaturthi) as the release date.
