He recently declared Kanaa as profitable, during the film’s success meet. Accolades have been pouring in for Kanaa from various celebrities, but this time, it is from someone special.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s cricket academy say Sivakarthikeyan’s Kanaa inspired parents

Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin’s cricket academy Gennext, which is located in Chennai have said that Kanaa is inspiring parents to choose cricket as a career. The Chief Operating Officer of the academy took to Twitter, to share this. He said, “Thanks to #Kanaa, I have now got at least 5-6 calls from TN districts from parents enquiring for cricket coaching for their 12-13 year old daughters at our academy @gennextcricket. Shows what good content can do to ppl: it inspires them. Congrats, @Siva_Kartikeyan! True success!”

Kanaa, which hit screens by the end of last month was directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and starred Aishwarya Rajesh, Sathyaraj and Darshan in lead roles, with music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas.
