Thala Ajith and Thalapathy Vijay are like two strong forces of the Tamil film industry. While their fans often clash, the two stalwarts have shown mutual respect and admiration towards each other.

On the work front, both are busy with their respective projects. Vijay was last seen in Master that was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and will next be seen in Thalapathy 65 that is helmed by Nelson Dhilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. Pooja Hedge plays the female lead.

Ajith was last seen in Nerkonda Paarvai that was helmed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. The trio is coming together for Valimai which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
