RANI MUKHERJEE ANNOUNCES SEQUEL OF THIS CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED FILM

Mardaani is a film based on child trafficking and sexual abuse, that had Rani Mukherjee playing the role of a cop. The film performed well at the box office, and now the actress has announced that the sequel of this film is on the cards. 

Titled Mardaani 2, the film will be bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, and directed by Gopi Puthran. The first installment of the series was directed by Pradeep Sarkar. Mardaani 2 is expected to go on the floors in early 2019 and release later in the same year.
