Director Rambhala's recent directorial film, Dhillukku Dhuddu 2, starring Santhanam and Shritha Sivadas in the lead roles had Motta Rajendran, TM Karthik and others playing crucial supporting roles. The film performed extremely well in the box office, and was praised by a lot of people for the amount of comedy it had.
The director is now here with his next, titled Daavu that has Chandramouli and Monica Reba of Jarugandi fame in the lead roles. The latest update on this film is that the shooting has been almost wrapped up, with only the climax portions, and one song left to shoot.
Daavu has Munishkanth, Manobala, Livingston as a part of it's supporting cast. It is produced by Raghunathan under the banner 2 movie buffs. Deepak Kumar Pathy is the cinematographer, Praveen KL is handling the cuts, while Santhosh Dayanidhi is the music composer.
The female lead, Reba Monica has also signed a role to play in Vijay's next film, Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.
