RGV’S NEW CONTROVERSY WITH TENNIS STAR SANIA MIRZA

Ram Gopal Varma, who is known for his controversial posts on social media had quit Twitter and told his followers that he will be active on Instagram. The director’s recent controversy was with tennis star Sania Mirza.

Reports suggest that RGV posted a picture on his Instagram account that had Sania mid-volley and compared it to the protagonist of his short film titled ‘Meri Beti Sunny Leone Banna Chahti Hai’.

RGV captioned the picture with, “A girl told someone, MBSLBCI reminded her of,though she was very good at Tennis her father refused to permit her to play beyond an age because she will have to wear skirts ..The film is about exposing these regressive minds who use a girl's sexuality against herself.” To this post, Sania’s fans and even RGV’s followers were enraged.

Ram Gopal Varma is yet to apologize to tennis star Sania Mirza for this post that had her compared to his short film protagonist. On the work front, his last directorial was Sarkar 3.
