Recently, she was seen cooking for a special episode with Upasana Konidela, Ram Charan's wife. Rakul Preet Singh said that many people avoid rice in the name of diet, but in fact, rice and twice the amount of vegetables should be taken. She cooked Spinach Peas Pulao for the show. She also shared many health tips on the show.

On the work front, among her upcoming films is the Sivakarthikeyan starrer Ayalaan, which has music composed by AR Rahman. R Ravikumar who had earlier directed Netru Indru Naalai is at the helm of this science fiction film which is produced by R. D. Raja and Kotapadi J. Rajesh under their production banners 24AM Studios and KJR Studios respectively.
