Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar has been running into controversies since last night, as the Tamil Nadu politicians have been protesting against the film. As per the latest developments, the team of Sarkar agreed to remove a particular shot from the film that featured director A.R.Murugadoss. The banners and posters were damaged in many theatres throughout Tamil, which screened Sarkar.
Superstar Rajinikanth has strongly condemned this act against Sarkar, through his latest tweet.
Rajinikanth's tweet is roughly translated as, "It is illegal to protest against a film that has been censored. It is not fair to stop the film screening, stage protests to remove scenes from the film, and damaging the banners in front of the theatres. I strongly condemn this act."
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan had also extended his support to Vijay, A.R.Murugadoss and the team of Sarkar in this controversy.
