RAGHAVA LAWRENCE REACTS TO DARBAR'S BOX OFFICE RESPONSE: 'FEW PEOPLE THOUGHT IT WON'T RUN..'
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsMulti-faceted actor, director, choreographer and producer Raghava Lawrence had previously directed the blockbuster horror-comedy Kanchana 3, fourth installment of the director's iconic 'Muni' series. Raghava Lawrence is currently busy with the proceedings of his forthcoming directorial 'Laxmmi Bomb', which stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani as leads.
Recently, Raghava Lawrence took to his official Twitter account to express his thoughts on the box-office collections of Rajinikanth's Darbar, claiming that the film set the cash registers ringing despite a person's attempts to stop the audiences from watching.
He wrote "Few people had thought that Thalaivar movie will not run successfully, especially the one person had planned so many things and mentioned in Whatsapp to not go and watch the movie but beyond all this Thalaivar's movie is breaking the box office."
According to producers, Darbar has collected 150 crores worldwide in it's opening weekend. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Darbar features Nayanthara as female lead with Anirudh composing the music. The film is produced by Lyca Productions.
