After announcing that he will reveal his decision on December 31, Rajinikanth opens up. "I am definitely entering politics. This is the time's demand. I will be beginning my own party and will be contesting in the upcoming State Elections. We will stand in all the 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu."

Kamal Haasan who is considered to be Rajinikanth's on-screen rival for the past 40 years took to his social platform to share his thoughts about Superstar's political entry. Kamal Haasan congratulated Rajini's social sentiment and welcomed him to politics.
