RAADIKA SARATHKUMAR TO QUIT SUN TV SERIAL 'CHITHI 2' - DETAILS

Like the first part, Raadika Sarathkumar plays the lead in this one too. But just months after shooting began, the coronavirus-induced curfew came into place and the serial was temporarily halted. Similarly, some of the characters including Ponvannan who played the lead role underwent a change.

The serial is currently moving at a critical juncture where the twists and the turns about the Kavin-Venba marriage are taking place. But actress Raadika has now announced her departure from the serial.

She took to Twitter to pen - Mixed mood of happiness and a tinge of sadness as I sign off from #Chithi 2 &megaseials for now. Given the best of my years  and hard work in @suntv Sad to say bye to all the technicians and costars. The show must go on good luck to Cavin, venba and Yazhini. 1/1
