RAADIKA SARATHKUMAR'S DAUGHTER'S EMOTIONAL NOTE FOR HER DAUGHTER IS A MUST-READ!

"I got a bunch of messages asking why I call Radhya a miracle.

It’s because she is a damn MIRACLE.

She was born at 31 weeks at 1kg. She was breathing with a help of a machine for a month, on and off seizures and a bunch of other complications. She was surrounded by machines and plugged to sooo many tubes and wires. You could count every bone in her body, She was the size of my forearm. Plus she was born right before the country shut down.

The worst thing for any parent is to go back home with their baby. Our doctors weren’t too sure if she would pull through, only thing they kept saying was “one day at a time!”.

I have dealt with a premie before but this was a different ball game all together. She broke me!!! I couldn’t carry her for 3 weeks, I had only touched her forehead. As a mother, the only thing I could was pray cause nothing else was in my hands.

The fighter that she is, Radhya pulled through and is being the boss baby that she is.

To me, she is a Unicorn 

She is my miracle!

I am forever grateful to medicine, the doctors, nurses and the entire staff of GG hospital.

So if anyone is going through something similar, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just take it one day at a time!

On the work front, Raadika Sarathkumar is part of many movies besides her television commitment - Chithi 2. She is also aiding her husband Sarathkumar in his political stint. Sarath is the convenor of the Samuthuva Makkal Katchi.

Raadika a few days back had said that whoever aligns with Sarathkumar's party has good chances of winning the upcoming elections. The duo had also recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
