Actor RJ Balaji is one of the most important people who came to the film industry from radio jockey. He gained many fans through movie reviews on the radio. His film reviews mainly focus on what maximum the viewers can gain from the movie.
He is currently starring in the tamil version of Badhaai Ho. Not just acting, he also directs the movie. Badhaai Ho is a blockbuster film in India that grossed over Rs 220 crore and won a National Award.
In this remake, he is paired with Aparna Balamurali, who starred in the film Soorarai Pottru. Sathyaraj, Urvasi and Yogibabu play crucial roles.
Recently a netizen had raised doubts as to whether the movie will be received by TN audience, since it has a controversial storyline. However, RJ Balaji replied - "Yea right! It IS a controversial story if someone's pregnant in a family, but a family movie if its about a don or a smuggler or a murderer or a thief!" His sarcastic replies in itself has a wide fan base.
