ARUN VIJAY’S PRODUCER BECOMES HIS VILLAIN!

The latest news is that producer Mathiyalagan is all set to play a negative role in his movie ‘Boxer’. His latest look from the movie is scheduled for a release at 5:00 pm today. This is some really exciting news for Arun Vijay’s fans.

Speaking about his role, Mathiyalagan, in an exclusive telephonic interview with Behindwoods said “I am really excited about this role. I had got a few acting offers before, but I didn’t take it. I thought, we always bring North Indian guys down south to play baddies. There is a shortage of Tamil speaking actors who can play that role. So, I decided to do it.”

“I went in for a test photoshoot. I had been working out really hard and eating clean ever since the lockdown started. We liked the outcome of the photoshoot and I onboarded the acting arena of the movie.”

When asked about acting in any other upcoming movie, Mathiyalagan said “I want to play characters, which people remember. If I play the baddie, I want people to feel the terror when they think of my character. I don’t want to play any ‘just another guy in the movie’ kind of roles. I’m looking forward to acting as a career and not just as a standalone performance in this movie.”

Mathiyalagan also revealed that they were in touch with Anurag Kashyap for this role and the logistics didn’t work out for both the parties.

‘Boxer’, directed by Vivek stars Arun Vijay, Ritika Singh and Mathiyalagan in pivotal roles. The movie has music by Imman and is expected to go on floors soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
