Priya Anand was last seen in Kollywood in the 2017 film ‘Kootathil Oruthan’. She later acted in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada movies. Now, she is back to Tamil Cinema, playing the lead in RJ Balaji’s LKG.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, she said why she chose to be a part of LKG. “I’ve known Balaji for a long time. When he narrated me the script, I loved it. Balaji is apt for this role. My character was very well written and was exciting for me. That’s why I agreed to be a part of this film”, she said.
Post the questioning, she sportively took part in the Hug Me Kiss Me Slap Me segment, where if she answers the questions correctly, she can give a dare task to the VJ. She correctly answered almost all the questions and took her chance to troll VJ Nikki very badly. She literally dressed him up as a woman, and it was a LOL moment, indeed.
LKG, starring RJ Balaji and Priya Anand in lead roles also stars JK.Ritheesh, Nanjil Sampath and Santhanabharathi and Ramkumar Ganesan in crucial roles. The movie is directed by Prabhu and has music by Leon James. The movie is produced by Ishari.K.Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International, and is all set for a release on 22nd February.
