Lakshmi is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Vijay starring Prabhu Deva and Ditya Bhande playing the leads and Aishwarya Rajesh has played a supporting role.  As reported earlier the film is based on dance and the music is scored by Sam C.S. Through a recent press note, the director has revealed further information on this project. 

"Lakshmi is a film exclusively on dance. Dance is the finest art of expression and no one other than Prabhu Deva sir can exhibit this art to the level of international standards. "Lakshmi" is a  film on the true bonding between a Master who breathes dance and a disciple who thrives to breath the art of dance. We have explored the art of dance as much as possible. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead. Baby Ditya plays the pivotal role of the super sensational disciple. She literally set the screen on fire.

Sam CS the music director was literally challenged by the dancing wizard Prabhu Deva and Sam has matched his steps tune by tune. Nirav Shah has captured the electrifying dance moments with effortless ease. Anthony has saved his best too for this film. We are sure Lakshmi will definitely mark a good place for itself."
