POWERSTAR SRINIVASAN ARRESTED

Powerstar Srinivasan was arrested by the Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi police today (7th March) from his Chennai Anna Nagar residence.  This is apparently in connection with a cheating case that was filed against him for Rs 10 crore.

Reports suggest that Srinivasan did not honor the repeated summons by the Delhi police to be present at the court which led to an arrest warrant issued against him.

It has to be noted that there are already a few cheating cases filed against him and he had also been jailed for three months on earlier occasions.
