Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsThe entire film fraternity in India were shocked and devastated when the untimely demise news of Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar flashed on the screens. The actor passed away on Friday (October 29) afternoon.
The actor was rushed to Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru after he suffered a heart attack where he was given an emergency treatment in the ICU and the doctors declared him dead after sometime.
Hundreds of fans assembled outside his residence and the hospital. Following the announcement of his death, condolences poured in from celebrities and fans, as well as sports personalities and politicians.
Just a couple of hours before his sudden death, the actor took to his social media to wish the entire team of Kannada film Bhajarangi 2 which was released yesterday. For the unversed, the film featured his brother Shiva Rajkumar in the lead. His last tweet read, “Best wishes for the entire team of #Bhajarangi2 @NimmaShivanna @NimmaAHarsha @JayannaFilms.”
