Maanagaram, directed by promising filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, was an action-thriller which received dazzling reviews after it emerged a commercial success. Bankrolled by SR Prabhu, the movie revolved around the happenings in the life of an educated youth from the village who visits the city.
It had a strong cast that included Sri, Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra. Now it has been revealed that for the Hindi remake of Maanagaram, Vikrant Massey and Sanjay Mishra will also join with Vijay Sethupathi for crucial roles.
Reliable sources have also informed us that the heroine is to be finalized yet, and more announcements on the cast and crew is expected to be announced. Exciting yes? While Makkal Selvan will be making his Bollywood debut in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha, this upcoming project might cement Vijay Sethupathi's name up north.
