Aged 50, he had been battling for his life in ICU in a private hospital in Bengaluru for more than a month.
The death news was confirmed by popular actress Pooja Bhatt who tweeted, “With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill.”
Last month, the actress had shared details of Faraaz’s diagnosis and requested people to crowdfund to pay for his medical bills of Rs 25 lakh. The actor had suffered multiple seizures according to a statement issued by his family.
Actor Salman Khan had also made a contribution for the treatment. Now, several celebs and fans have taken to their social media to express their deepest condolences to the bereaving family.
