Popular Bengali serial actress Subarna Jash allegedly committed suicide on the 9th of February. She was declared dead by the doctors when rushed to the hospital. She was under depression for a time, according to her friends’ statements from media reports.
The actress has acted in a few serials such as ‘Mayurpankhi’ (in which she plays the role of the lead role’s friend). Hailing from West Bengal, the actress shifted to Kolkata from her hometown in the hopes of making it big in the tinsel town. According to reports, since she could not bag roles of much importance, she was dejected and returned to her native place.
This tragedy has apparently left the fans and audience in shock. It must be noted, another popular Hindi TV serial actress Sejal Sharma had also committed suicide recently the last month. The actress was also said to have been suffering from depression.
