Rajinikanth’s Petta which released on the 10th of January, is currently having a good run at the box-office after receiving positive response from the audience. Meanwhile, stunt director Peter Hein shares his experience on working with Rajini and in this film, exclusively with Behindwoods.
“For one particular fight sequence, we wanted to try something Rajini Sir has never done before. I did a lot of research and finally came up with the ‘Nunchuk’ idea. I told about that to Karthik, and he agreed immediately. I informed Rajini Sir two months before the shoot about the sequence, and he vigorously trained for over 50 days to perform the shot, and now audience are loving it”, said Peter Hein in a very candid interview.
Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Sasikumar, Megha Akash and Sananth in crucial roles. It has music by Anirudh Ravichander and DOP by Tirru, and produced by Kalanithi Maran under his banner Sun Pictures.
