Vijay Deverakonda rose to national fame with his performance in films like 'Arjun Reddy' and Geetha Govindam. The actor had made his Tamil debut with the political thriller 'NOTA' that was released last year.
The 'Arjun Reddy' actor is said to star as the lead in an upcoming film directed by Anand Annamalai, the dialogue writer of Kaaka Muttai. The film is touted to be a sports film and Vijay Deverakonda is said to essay the role of a bike racer. The project is tentatively titled 'Hero' and will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and is said to be simultaneously released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
The film is at initial stages of production and the recent addition to the cast is actor Malavika Mohanan, who became popular for her role in Petta. Talks are on with several prominent actors to be part of this magnum opus. Stay tuned for more updates.
