PERAZHAGAN DIRECTOR PASSES AWAY!

Sasi Shankar known for his contributions as a director in Malayalam and Tamil film industries passed away today, August 10th at Kerala. He was 57 years old and is survived by his wife Beena Shanker, son Vishnu and daughter Meenakshi.

He was said to be found unconscious at his residence near Kolenchery at 9.30 am today and was declared dead when he was taken to a nearby private hospital. The exact reason for his death is still unknown.

He made his Tamil debut through Suriya’s Perazhagan which was released in the year 2004. He has directed around 10 films which include the National Award winning Narayam (National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues).
