EXCLUSIVE: 'WE STARTED WITH AN AJITH'S FILM, NOW WE ARE NO.1'

In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Kasi theatre owner Subramiam opens up about his journey in the theatre industry. In this write up we bring to his view on special early morning shows. 

"Screening a special early morning show is not an easy deal, we can't bring people to the theatre overnight or in a few days, we have been building a base for the past 18 years to screen early morning show to treat top film star fans. Kasi is now at the No.1 position in Chennai, today when people think about the 1st-day 1st show, only Kasi theatre comes to their mind. That's the reward we got for our 18 years of hard work."

When asked about his unforgettable FDFS experience at Kasi?

"Enthiran, it had an extraordinary opening, from the night before the day of the movie's release, till the movie was screened, one side of the road was blocked by the fans, that was the response Enthiran had."

Which was their first early morning special show?

"In Chennai, Kasi theatre was the first to screen early morning shows, we started with an Ajith's film, Paramasivam."
