It is not a lesser known fact that her fame and popularity which rose recently was all credits to the famous family drama serial in Vijay Tv - 'Pandian Stores'. She played one of the leading roles , along with actors Stalin, Venkat Ranganathan, Kumaran Thangarajan, Sujitha Dhanush and Hema Raj Sathish.
Actors Stalin, Kumaran, Sujitha and Shanthi Williams who played Chithu's mother in the serial paid their homage to the departed actress yesterday. In a heartwrenching video Kumaran shared on his Instagram page earlier today, he spoke about how Chitra was a very active person and a multitasker. He recounted his days with his reel pair, unable to control his tears, he broke down completely, in the video below:
