Love Panna Utranum is Vignesh Shivan’s segment and he opens up in the exclusive interview about how he landed up deciding the characters - Anjali and Kalki Koechlin for the film.

In answer to a fan's question about the movie - "Y did you let go the father in ur story of pava kadhai .. isn't he also a murderer who killed so many ppl (sic)", here's what Vignesh Shivan said - "But he actually made it look like an accident only no :(... morally yes, he's the murderer but, no evidence other than his conscience! So he gave himself the punishment for his regretful decision, he asked for forgiveness and decided to spend the rest of his life with his other daughter".

Not just that, in reply to another question, Vignesh Shivan has also let slip that he plans to take a sequel on similar lines.
