KAMAL HAASAN AND PA. RANJITH TEAM UP FOR A NEW FILM; SEMMA EXCITING UPDATE!

Directors Santhana Bharathi, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Pa. Ranjith, Kamal Haasan, actors Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu and Vikram were present on the occasion. The trailer and music of the film were released at the festival. The trailer hit YouTube.

Speaking on the occasion, Pa. Ranjith and Kamal Haasan confirmed their next films. Ranjith announced that he was going to direct Kamal's next film which will be based on rural story in Madurai and mentioned that Virumandi was his favorite film. Kamal said, "Pa. Ranjith has sown the seed for your expectation and that too is going to happen."

Vikram will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on June 3. The film is being released by Red Giant Movies, a leading distribution company in Tamil Nadu.

Girish Gangadharan who won the National Award for his film 'Jallikattu', has handled the cinematography for the film. Anirudh composes the music. Sony Music has acquired the audio rights to Vikram's film.

Pa. Ranjith is all set to direct Chiyaan 61 starring actor Vikram. The announcement was made in December last year. The film is being produced by Studio Green Gnanavel Raja. Credible reports suggest that the film is titled 'Maidanam'. GV is the music composer for this film. This is Studio Green's 23rd production.
