The photos of the famous Tamil director at the world famous Cannes Film Festival are now going viral.
The 75th Cannes International Film Festival kicked off today on May 17 in Cannes, France.

The film festival, which started today (17.05.2022), will continue till May 28. Also, films in languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi will be screened at the festival.
An 11-member delegation led by the Union Minister on behalf of India is scheduled to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Union Minister Anurag Thakur, composer A.R. Rahman, actor Madhavan, actresses Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah, Vani Tripathi and many more will be present.
Iravin Nizhal shot in a single shot
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, directed by Madhavan, is being screened on behalf of India. Furthermore, A.R. Rahman's virtual reality film 'Le Musk' and Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal film, the world's first single-shot film in a linear screenplay, will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
The trailer of Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi, will also be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Pa Ranjith arrives at the Cannes Film Festival
Famous director who has directed films including Attakathi, Kabali, Sarpatta Parambarai. Photos of Ranjith attending the Cannes Film Festival are currently going viral. Photos of him with his ID card and face covered with a mask are now widely shared on the Internet.
It has been reported that the first look of Ranjith's next film 'Vettuvam' will be released at the Cannes Film Festival.
