AFTER KANCHANA 3, OVIYA'S NEXT FILM IS A ROMCOM HORROR!!

In Sambavam, the actor is all set to explore a different genre in his career - horror. Yes, Sambavam directed by Ranjith is sent in the backdrop of an urban settlement, and also a horror touch will be given to the romcom, in which Bigg Boss fame actress Oviya is paired alongside Abi. After Kanchana 3, this movie will be another one with the supernatural elements in Oviya’s movie graph.

In another untitled project, Abi will be teaming up with veteran director S. A. Chandrasekhar, in which he will play a rustic character of that of a village guy. The movie will be produced by SAC and it is to be directed by Arun.

In a recent interaction with Behindwoods, the actor had mentioned how emotionally impactful the demise of Paravai Muniyamma was to him. He said, "It was deeply saddening to me during these COVID lockdown times, I could not even pay proper respects to her, could not even buy a garland. I had got special permission to attend her last rites. She always treated me as a family member, made sweets for me, watched my film Mayanadhi with me. It was a great personal loss."
