She recently completed 40 years in the film industry and penned a special note for her fans and said that making a mark of her own has been nothing short of a blessing and expressed gratitude for people who believed in her and gave her opportunities.

Starting his career with the 1990 film ‘En Kadhal Kanmani’, Vikram got his big break as the lead in director Bala's Sethu. From then on, he went on to act in hugely successful films, working with most of the leading filmmakers in the industry. He has won the coveted National Award for acting, as well as the State Award among many others.

Here's an not-so-popular viral throwback from these two acting powerhouses. Apparently, in 2000, Vikram and actress Meena launched a pop album titled Kadhalism, which the pair would sing and appear in music videos for, although the project was completed without much promotion.
