Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsDirected by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu is STR's project in the making as the lead. Suresh Kamatchi is bankrolling the project under the banner V House Productions. Sivakarthikeyan's 'Hero' actress Kalyani Priyadarshan is paired opposite to Simbu.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for this upcoming film that is touted to be a political genre movie. SJ Suryah will be seen as a villain, while Premji Amaren, Karunakaran and veteran directors SA Chandrasekhar and Bharathiraja in key roles.
The movie's shoot had been halted as STR had shot permission to shoot Suseenthiran's Eeswaran. Now, according to sources close to us, Maanadu shooting is expected to resume from November 9th in Pondicherry and 40 days schedule has planned. Uber cool decision to shoot at a uber cool place!
