Ajith’s recent film Viswasam is still running successfully in theatres after 3 weeks. Among the star cast of the film is Anikha who played the role of Swetha as Ajith @ Thooku Durai’s daughter in the movie pleasantly attracted the audiences with a good performance. Viswasam was her second movie acting alongside Ajith Kumar as his daughter. She had already played his daughter in Yennai Arindhaal directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon that released in 2015.
Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan is an upcoming Tamil film written and directed by Seenu Ramasamy which started its shooting in December last year. The movie is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Recently released photographs from the shooting spot of the movie are making rounds on the internet and Anikha is also spotted with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.
The latest news is that Anikha is part of the cast of Maamanithan, but our sources inform she is not playing Vijay Sethupathi's daughter role, details about her role are not yet known and the shoot is currently happening in Alleppey, Kerala and will go on till January 31st.
The cast also includes Gayathrie who had acted with Vijay Sethupathi in Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. It can be noted that this is the third time Vijay Sethupathi, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Seenu Ramasamy are coming together after Idam Porul Yaeval and Dharma Durai.
