Actor-politician Kamal Haasan, who is busy on touring Kanyakumari in his capacity as the leader of Makkal Needhi Maiam, helped a woman in distress, according to reports.

After finishing a meeting in Colachel, Kamal was on his way to Karungal when he discovered a woman who had been in a road accident in Anakuzhi. News footage showed him making sure the woman was taken in his own car to a nearby hospital.
