NEW SERIAL ANNOUNCED WITH A ‘SOORARAI POTTRU’ CONNECT - HERE'S WHERE AND WHEN TO WATCH!

With this being said, a new serial is all set to kickstart from today (May 3) to add more flavours to the audiences! Bommi B.A, B.L. which will show the deep-rooted prejudice and bias against women will start from today at 6:30 PM from Monday to Saturday only on Colors Tamil. Tamil audiences will be familiar with the name Bommi as it is one of their favourite roles' name (Aparna Balamurali's) in Suriya's Soorarai Pottru.

The fiction is set in pre-independence Calcutta and traces the journey of 8-year-old Bommi (played by Aura Bhatnagar). Bommi is married off to a 60-year-old man and becomes a subject to social injustice. But life takes a new turn in her life when fate leads her to her husband, Anirudh, a London-return Barrister with a wish of liberating women and set women free from cultural stereotypes.

Anirudh helps Bommi to get out of the gloomy tradition of social discrimination. This leads them towards a journey together and Bommi becomes a Barrister and challenges the system with her tough and thought-provoking arguments. Check out the promo here -
