Now, Mani Ratnam is all set in completing this daunting task, as he has already started shooting for this movie long back. This period drama is to have an enthralling cast ensemble.
Talented artists that include Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Lal, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Riyaz Khan are amongst the many well-known artists who are part of the crew.
Ponniyin Selvan is being jointly bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran and Mani Ratnam, under their Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies banners. Ravi Varman cranks the camera for the movie and Sreekar Prasad is taking care of the editing of this movie, whose music is composed by AR Rahman.
Now, the makers are out with a brand-new royal poster featuring a sword against a shield which has a fierce tiger’s face roaring on it. Apart from that, the makers have confirmed that the first part of this magnum opus is all set to release in 2022.
