Nayanthara is said to have signed a two-film deal with Passion Studios. The films are to be produced by Passion Studios in association with Abhishek Pictures. Passion Studios had produced Seethakaathi (2018), Petromax (2019) and co-produced Penguin (2020), Andhaghaaram (2020) recently.

Now, we have the dope on the first project. It is said that the first project will be directed by a debutant director and will feature two more prominent male stars as an antagonist and a protagonist, respectively. The production team is said to be in talks with Kannada star Sudeep to play the villain. It is expected that the details of the other cast and the crew will be known in the coming days.

Nayanthara is also acting in the Rajinikanth starrer 'Annaatthe' which has her, Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh among others playing important roles in the star-studded film, which is directed by Siva. After 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in 2015, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara are set to once again join hands in Vignesh Shivan’s directorial 'Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal' which also stars Samantha in a prominent role.
