Superstar Rajinikanth is currently working in Darbar directed by A.R.Murugadoss and produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions. This is Superstar’s second film with Lyca Productions after their successful venture 2.0.
Nayanthara was announced as the female lead for the film, which was a much celebrated news. This will be the Lady Superstar’s 3rd movie with Rajinikanth after Chandramukhi, Kuselan.
Lyca has today posted on their twitter page that Nayanthara is joining the sets of Darbar in Mumbai to start shooting for her portions. This is a very exciting news. From the posters, Darbar is expected to be a cop story and now it is very intriguing to know the role played by Nayanthara in the film.

Nayanthara is also working in Thalapathy 63 with Vijay directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment. She also began the year 2019 with a blockbuster Viswasam alongside Ajith Kumar.
