Written and directed by Dhyan Sreenivasan in his directorial debut, the project was bankrolled by by Visakh Subramaniam and Aju Varghese. Her latest film was Darbar, in which she was paired alongside Superstar Rajinikanth. Her next project titled 'Mookuthi Amman', will mark RJ Balaji's directorial debut and the movie's shoot has been completed. He has written the story, screenplay, dialogues and will also be directing the same with NJ Saravanan for this upcoming film. She is also doing a movie Netrikann in Vignesh Shivan's production Rowdy Pictures.

Other than that, she is playing the role of a lawyer in Thalaivar 168, directed by Siva and bankrolled by Sun Pictures, which features Rajinikanth in the lead role. Also, she has signed up as one of the leading ladies in Vignesh Shivan's Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal with Vijay Sethupathi as the lead, and Samantha is the other heroine.
