For the unversed, Manmadhudu 2 is the sequel to the 2002 rom-com Manmadhudu, which also had Nagarjuna playing the lead. The makers had initially released the teaser which featured Nagarjuna's character, a Casanova-like character. Apart from the leads, Manmathudu 2 also features Vennela Kishor, Devadarshini, Lakshmi and others in crucial roles.

Manmathudu 2 also features a cameo performance from actress and daughter-in-law of Nagarjuna, Samantha Akkineni, and actress Keerthy Suresh. Jointly produced by Annapurna Studios, Manam Enterprises, Viacom 18 Studios and Anandi Art Creations, the film's music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj while M. Sukumar handles the editing department.

The teaser of the movie was earlier released and had piqued up many interests. Now, the makers have released the trailer of the movie which seems to have all the elements. The film is all set to hit the screens on August 9th, a day exactly after the release of Thala Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai. Watch the trailer here -
